Prof. Inviolata Vicky Khasandi-Telewa is an Associate Professor of Applied Linguistics in Laikipia University, Kenya. She attained her PhD in Applied Linguistics and English Language Teaching, from the University of Warwick, UK. She has been teaching in Laikipia University since 1997 and is now the Dean of the School of Humanities and Development Studies and Acting Deputy Vice Chancellor Academics, Research and Student Affairs.
Florence a lecturer at Laikipia University and a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Pretoria. Her areas of interest are; Value Chain analysis of food systems and accelerating Agripreneurship and Enterprise Development in Africa through exploration of opportunities along value chains. Her passion is to promote and stimulate entrepreneurship in agriculture amongst the youth to address unemployment and food insecurity challenges prevalent in sub-Saharan African.
Dr. Barnabas Kurgat has over 8 years teaching and research experience in areas of, climate studies, natural resource management and sustainable agricultural production systems. He has previously worked on Cross-continental network for sustainable adaptation of grassland systems vulnerable to climate change (GrassNet) and Horticultural Innovation and Learning for Improved Nutrition and Livelihood in East Africa (HORTINLEA) project as a research fellow. He has also carried out a number of consultancy work on environmental matters and of climate change studies.
Dr Owili is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Mathematics. His specialization is in Statistics with a research interest in Time series analysis, Epidemiology, Financial Risk management. Dr Poti has also published widely in various national and international journals.

Prof. Nicholas Kamau Goro is an Associate Professor of Literature in the Department of Literary and Communication Studies. His specializations and research interests are in the areas of African Literature, Postcolonial Studies and the intercession between Literature Politics and Social Justice. An award winning creative writer Goro is currently the Director Research, Human Rights and Gender. His research work has been published in both local and international journals.

Dr Kirori Mindo is a community absorbed Lecturer and Researcher at Laikipia University 7 years’ experience in planning, organization and mobilization for research, who’s expertise is in Information Technology. Kirori has previously been involved in various research projects like the National Wireless Sensor Networks Research under National Commission for Science and Technology (NACOSTI), Google CS4HS project and KENET research on Zigbee. He has presented papers at various national and international conferences for the same.
